Alejandra Romero

Alejandra Romero is a Diagnostic Practicum trainee at Florida School of Professional Psychology, where she is pursuing her doctorate in Clinical Psychology. She is currently focused on developing her psychological assessment and diagnostic skills. She values evidence-based practice and cultural competence and is committed to serving individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds and with a wide range of mental health experiences. Her primary professional goal is to work with Spanish-speaking immigrant communities, as she is passionate about providing accessible, culturally responsive bilingual care.  

She earned her bachelor's degree in Psychology, with a minor in Anthropology, from the University of Florida. Her work experience includes serving as a case manager and project coordinator for a social justice nonprofit organization that supports the local immigrant community. Outside of her academic and professional life, she enjoys reading, exercising, and spending quality time with family and friends.
